These terms cover the basics for a takeaway ordering site. They're a starting point, not a substitute for professional legal advice.
1. About these terms
These terms govern your use of Matcha Queen's online ordering website. By placing an order you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
2. Orders
Placing an order is an offer to buy. We accept your order when we confirm it back to you. We may decline an order — for example, if a dish is unavailable, the delivery address is outside our zone, or we're closed.
You're responsible for the accuracy of the details you give us (name, address, contact number, dietary requirements). We can't take responsibility for orders we couldn't fulfil because of wrong information.
3. Pricing & payment
All prices include VAT where applicable. The total at checkout is what you pay. Card payments online aren't available yet — for now, payment is taken on collection or delivery.
4. Delivery & collection
Estimated times shown at checkout are estimates, not guarantees. They depend on order volume, traffic, and weather. For delivery, please be reachable on the contact number you gave us. If we can't reach you we may cancel the order.
5. Cancellations & refunds
Once we've started preparing your food we can't cancel the order. If something is wrong with your order, contact us within 30 minutes of receiving it and we'll do our best to make it right.
6. Allergens
Allergen information is on each item and on our allergens page. Our kitchen handles all 14 statutory allergens, so we can't guarantee zero cross-contamination. If you have a severe allergy, please call us before ordering.
7. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that can't be excluded under English law. Subject to that, our total liability for any order is limited to the price of that order.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.
